Facet injections/Medial branch blocks
Radiofrequency Ablation
X-ray guided procedure. also called “Rhizotomy”. Special needles are used to coagulate or lesion pain producing nerves to provide long term pain relief. Usually done after facet nerve blocks provide temporary pain relief. Can also be done for sacroiliac joint nerves for sacroiliac joint pain, geniculate nerves for knee pain.

Genicular Nerves Blocks
X-ray or ultrasound guided procedure. Genicular nerves are blocked to treat severe knee pain oftentimes after knee replacement when knee injection is not an option.
Peripheral Nerve Blocks
X-ray or ultrasound guided procedure for peripheral nerve pain like intercostal nerve for chest wall or rib pain, suprascapular nerve for shoulder pain.
Sympathetic Ganglion Block
X-ray guided procedure for sympathetically mediated pain like CRPS.
Spinal Cord Stimulator
X-ray guided advanced treatment for neck and back pain, post laminectomy pain, CRPS
