Faraz Khursheed, MD
Dr Faraz Khursheed is a double board certified physician in Neurology and Pain Medicine, and a diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and Pain Medicine. He completed his Neurology training from Louisiana State University in New Orleans and a fellowship in Pain Management from University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He has also completed a General Surgery Internship from University of Pennsylvania and a pre-residency fellowship in Spine and General Neurosurgery from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Being one of the very few Pain Physicians with a background in Clinical Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Dr Khursheed is well-equipped to employ a truly multidisciplinary approach towards management of painful conditions. With these unique set of expertise, he is not only able to treat pain using multiple modalities, but also help identify underlying causes and disease processes. He has expert skills in minimally invasive pain relief techniques, ranging from simple injections to kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty and spinal cord stimulation therapy, which enable patients to rely less on medication, and experience an improved function and quality of life.
